A Division Built
for Every Learner

Our Mission

The Division of Lifelong Learning and Innovation (LLI) expands access and opportunity to a Rutgers–New Brunswick education, so that learning continues for a lifetime and opportunity is open to everyone, at every stage of life.

In partnership with schools, employers, and communities, we deliver responsive, technology-enabled learning that advances workforce development and makes lifelong learning a central part of the University's public mission.

Through flexible online, hybrid, and in-person programs, spanning noncredit courses, professional and workforce certificates, and credit-bearing pathways, LLI meets learners wherever they are.
